Preheat your oven to the lowest possible temperature (ideally under 200 degrees F) and prop the door open slightly to allow moisture to escape. Place the turkey strips on a wire rack set over a baking sheet and bake for 3-6 hours, or until dried to your liking. Ground chicken can be substituted for ground turkey. Use lean ground turkey, the fat content affects both flavor and shelf life.
