Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gather all your ingredients. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a food processor, combine the parsley, olive oil, oregano, red wine vinegar, water, jalapeño, garlic, salt, and pepper. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Pulse the ingredients until you reach your desired consistency. For a coarser chimichurri, pulse briefly. For a smoother sauce, process for a longer time. (3-5 minutes)

04

Step

Transfer to a jar or container. Allow the chimichurri to sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (30 minutes)

05

Step

Serve and enjoy! Chimichurri is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. (2 minutes)

For a milder chimichurri, remove the veins and seeds from the jalapeño before mincing.
Feel free to adjust the amount of jalapeño to your spice preference.
If you don't have a food processor, you can finely chop all the ingredients and mix them together in a bowl.
Consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for an extra kick.
Experiment with other herbs like cilantro or thyme to customize your chimichurri.
