Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and lightly coating with nonstick cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Gently form the mixture into sixteen uniform, 1 1/2-inch meatballs. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Wrap each meatball with a half-slice of bacon, ensuring the ends overlap slightly. Secure the bacon with a toothpick to prevent it from unraveling during cooking. Generously brush each bacon-wrapped meatball with teriyaki sauce, then arrange them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush the meatballs with additional teriyaki sauce. Return to the oven and continue baking until the turkey is fully cooked and the bacon has reached your desired level of crispness, approximately 15 to 20 minutes more. (35 minutes)

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture or brush with a sriracha-infused teriyaki sauce.
To prevent the bacon from shrinking excessively, use thick-cut bacon.
Serve immediately with extra teriyaki sauce for dipping. These are best enjoyed hot!
