Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine the crushed tortilla chips, diced tomatoes, cream of chicken soup, green bell pepper, green chile peppers, 1/2 cup of the Cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup of the pepperjack cheese. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir the ground pork in the hot skillet until it is crumbly and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Transfer the pork to the tortilla chip mixture, retaining the drippings in the skillet. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Cook and stir the ground chicken in the reserved drippings until it is crumbly and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Transfer the cooked chicken to the pork-tortilla chip mixture; mix well. (15 minutes)

05

Step

Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish; top with the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of pepperjack cheese. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is bubbling and the cheeses are melted, about 30 minutes. (30 minutes)

07

Step

Allow the casserole to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a can of drained black beans or corn to the tortilla chip mixture.
Feel free to adjust the amount of green chile peppers to your preferred level of spiciness.
If you don't have ground pork on hand, you can substitute it with an equal amount of ground beef or turkey.

So easy to make and everyone loved it! I used ground turkey instead of pork and it was still great.
