For a creamier coleslaw, add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to the dressing. If you prefer a tangier coleslaw, reduce the sugar to 3/4 cup and increase the vinegar to 1 1/4 cups. To add a pop of color and flavor, consider adding 1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley or cilantro. Coleslaw is best served chilled. Make sure to refrigerate it for at least 6 hours before serving.
