In a large pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber, chopped nectarine, lemon slices, lemon juice, lime slices, lime juice, ginger, and melissa leaves. Gently muddle the ingredients with a wooden spoon to release their flavors. (5 minutes)

Pour in the water and stir well to combine. (2 minutes)

Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully infuse the water. (2 hours - overnight)

Strain the flavored water to remove the solids. (5 minutes)

Serve the refreshing flavored water over ice. (2 minutes)

For a sweeter flavor, add a touch more stevia or a small amount of honey or agave nectar.
Experiment with other fruits and herbs, such as berries, mint, basil, or rosemary.
If you don't have melissa leaves, you can substitute with other citrusy herbs like lemon verbena.
Adjust the amount of ginger to your preferred level of spice.
For a sparkling version, use sparkling water or club soda instead of still water.
