Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, gently mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, bell pepper, onion flakes, eggs, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Shape the mixture into approximately 72 (1-inch) meatballs. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven until they are no longer pink inside, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). (20 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the meatballs from the oven and drain them on paper towels to remove any excess grease. Place the drained meatballs in a large bowl or casserole dish. (5 minutes)

06

Step

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef broth, teriyaki sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. (5 minutes)

07

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the water and cornstarch until smooth. Gradually pour the cornstarch slurry into the saucepan with the sauce, stirring constantly. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes. (2 minutes)

08

Step

Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs and gently toss to coat them evenly. (2 minutes)

09

Step

Serve the teriyaki meatballs immediately or keep them warm in a slow cooker or in a 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) oven, covered with foil, until ready to serve.

For extra flavor, lightly brown the meatballs in a skillet before baking. This will give them a deeper, richer taste.
If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the teriyaki sauce.
These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated when needed. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Serve these teriyaki meatballs with toothpicks for easy serving at parties, or alongside rice and steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
