In a soup pot or Dutch oven, crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat. Sprinkle with the taco seasoning. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink (approximately 5 minutes).

Drain off any excess grease from the pot. Return the beef mixture to the pot. Stir in the pinto beans (undrained), black bean and corn salsa, salsa con queso dip, and water.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld.

Ladle the cheesy taco soup into bowls and garnish with your favorite toppings such as: guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, jalapeños, cilantro, or tortilla chips.

For a richer flavor, consider browning the ground beef with a diced onion and a clove of garlic.
Adjust the amount of water to achieve your desired soup consistency. Add more for a thinner soup, less for a thicker one.
Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
If you prefer a spicier soup, use a hot salsa con queso or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
