Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Fill a small bowl with water. (2 minutes)

02

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, green onions, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and ground ginger. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Lay out several wonton wrappers on a clean work surface. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each wrapper. Dip your fingertips in the bowl of water and lightly moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing firmly to seal the edges. Ensure no air pockets remain. (20 minutes)

04

Step

Working in batches to avoid overcrowding, lightly brush one side of the wontons with sesame oil. Place the oiled-side down in the air fryer basket. Brush the tops of the wontons with a small amount of sesame oil. (5 minutes per batch)

05

Step

Air fry for 4 minutes. Carefully flip the wontons using tongs and continue cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. (7-8 minutes per batch)

06

Step

Transfer the cooked wontons to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and cool slightly before serving. Repeat with remaining wontons.

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
Make sure to seal the wontons tightly to prevent the filling from leaking during cooking.
These are best served immediately for optimal crispness.
Serve with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

These were so easy and delicious! My kids loved them, and I felt good about serving them a healthier alternative to fried wontons.

I added a little sriracha to the beef mixture for some extra heat. They turned out amazing!

The key is to not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cooking them in batches ensures they get crispy all over.
