For extra crispy fries, consider double frying them in the air fryer. After the initial cooking time, remove the fries, increase the air fryer temperature to 425°F (220°C), and cook for another 2-3 minutes until deeply golden and extra crisp. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket! Overcrowding will steam the potatoes instead of frying them, resulting in soggy fries. Cook in batches if necessary. Experiment with different seasonings to customize your fries. Try rosemary and garlic, chili powder and lime, or parmesan and black pepper. Store leftover fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispness.

Feb 5, 2025I used russet potatoes and they came out great. A little drier than Yukon, but still good.
