Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a stand mixer fitted with the whip attachment, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. (Approximately 3-5 minutes)

02

Step

Add confectioners' sugar and salt to the whipped cream; mix until well combined. (Approximately 1 minute)

03

Step

Add mascarpone cheese and whip until fully incorporated and smooth. (Approximately 2 minutes)

04

Step

With the mixer running on low speed, gradually add 1/4 cup of Baileys® Irish Cream. Mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Set aside. (Approximately 1 minute)

05

Step

In a shallow dish, combine the cold coffee and the remaining 1/2 cup of Baileys® Irish Cream.

06

Step

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. (Approximately 5 minutes)

07

Step

Arrange a single layer of soaked ladyfingers on the bottom of a 3-quart dish.

08

Step

Spread half of the whipped cream mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.

09

Step

Top with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining whipped cream mixture.

10

Step

Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld. (4+ hours)

11

Step

Before serving, dust the top generously with cocoa powder.

For an even richer flavor, use espresso instead of regular coffee.
If you don't have a stand mixer, you can use a hand mixer. Just be sure to chill the bowl and beaters beforehand for best results.
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Baileys with coffee extract or a flavored coffee syrup.
Make sure the ladyfingers are only briefly dipped in the coffee mixture. Over-soaked ladyfingers will result in a soggy tiramisu.
