Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line two 10x15-inch baking sheets with aluminum foil. (5 minutes)

02

Step
10 mins

Place sweet potato slices onto the prepared baking sheets in a single layer, ensuring they don't overlap. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. (10 minutes)

03

Step
15 mins

Bake in the preheated oven until edges are brown and crispy, 13 to 14 minutes. Remove any chips with crispy brown edges as they are done to prevent burning and continue baking other chips, checking constantly and removing as the edges brown. (15 minutes)

04

Step
5 mins

Immediately sprinkle with coarse sea salt while the chips are still hot. Serve warm in a basket or let cool completely for a crispier texture. (5 minutes)

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika, garlic powder, or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking.
Watch the chips carefully during the last few minutes of baking, as they can burn quickly.
If you don't have aluminum foil, parchment paper can also be used, but the chips might stick slightly more.
Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes to re-crisp.
