For a spicier chili, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a diced jalapeño pepper along with the other spices. If you don't have beef broth, chicken broth or vegetable broth can be substituted. This chili is even better the next day, as the flavors have more time to develop. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Serve with tortilla chips, a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, or a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
