Toast the almonds for enhanced flavor and crunch. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden. Feel free to customize the dried fruit and nuts. Other great additions include chopped walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, or dried cherries. For a vegan version, substitute the butter with coconut oil and the honey with maple syrup or agave nectar. Store the granola bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. If the granola bars are too crumbly, try adding a tablespoon or two more of honey to help bind the mixture.

Mar 13, 2025These were so easy to make, and my kids loved them! I swapped the almonds for sunflower seeds due to allergies, and they were still delicious.

Dec 24, 2024I've made these a few times now, and they're always a hit. I like to add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before chilling for a sweet and salty flavor.

Jul 19, 2024The instructions were clear and easy to follow. My first batch was a little too crumbly, but adding a bit more honey fixed the problem.
