Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt) with floured cooking spray.

02

Step
4 mins

In a large bowl, combine the devil's food cake mix, sour cream, eggs, coffee-flavored liqueur, vegetable oil, instant chocolate pudding mix, orange zest, and ground cinnamon. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until the batter is very smooth, approximately 4 minutes. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.

03

Step
2 mins

Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.

04

Step
55 mins

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, approximately 50 to 60 minutes.

05

Step
40 mins

Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Invert the cake onto a serving plate and remove the pan. Let the cake cool completely, about 30 minutes.

06

Step
2 mins

Dust the cooled cake with confectioners' sugar before serving.

For an even richer flavor, consider using freshly brewed espresso instead of coffee-flavored liqueur.
If you don't have orange zest on hand, a teaspoon of orange extract can be used as a substitute.
To prevent the chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom of the cake, toss them with a tablespoon of flour before folding them into the batter.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.

I didn't have Kahlua, so I substituted with strong brewed coffee. It worked great!

Super easy to make, and the Kahlua flavor really comes through.

My bundt pan wasn't non-stick enough, so I had trouble removing the cake after baking. I would grease and flour extremely well!
