For a richer chocolate flavor, add 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips to the oat mixture before baking. Feel free to substitute other nuts or seeds based on your preference. Chopped pecans, walnuts, or sunflower seeds would all work well. Store these granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for longer storage. For chewier bars, slightly underbake them. For crisper bars, bake them for a couple more minutes.
