For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground pork with finely chopped mushrooms and tofu. If you don't have a steamer, you can pan-fry the dumplings in a little oil until golden brown and crispy. These dumplings can be made ahead of time and frozen. Simply steam them directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
