For an extra touch, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter immediately after baking. These rolls can be made ahead of time. After forming the rolls, you can let them rise in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, bring them to room temperature and bake as directed. If you don't have cardamom, you can substitute with nutmeg or cinnamon, but the flavor will be different.
