Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Pressure Cooker: Lightly coat the inside of your pressure cooker with olive oil and set it to heat. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Season and Dredge: In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour with salt and pepper to your liking. Thoroughly dredge the chicken giblets in the seasoned flour, ensuring they are evenly coated. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Sauté: Introduce the floured giblets and chopped onion to the heated pressure cooker. Sauté uncovered, stirring frequently, until the giblets are lightly browned and the onion is translucent. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Pressure Cook: Pour in the water. Secure the lid and bring the pressure cooker to 15 pounds of pressure. Cook until the giblets are fully tender and no longer pink inside. (30-45 minutes)

05

Step

Serve: Release pressure according to your cooker's instructions. Serve hot with mashed potatoes and a green salad.

For a richer flavor, consider using chicken broth instead of water.
If you like, deglaze the pan with a splash of dry sherry or white wine after sautéing the giblets and onions before adding the water or broth.
Adjust cooking time based on the size and type of your pressure cooker.
