For a smokier flavor, use smoked paprika in addition to or instead of some of the chili powder. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little more water to thin it out. This sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Feel free to adjust the amount of chili powder to control the spice level.
