Follow The Directions

01

Step

1. Gather all your ingredients. (5 minutes)

02

Step

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, lime juice, tamarind paste, garam masala, cumin, hot sauce, and sugar until well combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired sauce consistency – it should be easily pourable but not too thin. (10 minutes)

03

Step
15 mins

3. Arrange the potato chips on a large platter or individual plates. Layer with jalapeno, red bell pepper, red onion, green onion, sliced purple potatoes, fresh mint, and cilantro. Drizzle generously with the prepared yogurt sauce. (15 minutes)

04

Step
5 mins

4. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice from the lime halves. Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of flavors! (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try toasting your spices (garam masala and cumin) lightly in a dry pan before adding them to the yogurt sauce. This will enhance their aroma and depth.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of potato chips! Different flavors can add a unique twist to the dish.
If you don't have purple potatoes, regular boiled potatoes work just as well. You can also substitute with roasted sweet potatoes for a sweeter flavor profile.
Make the yogurt sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. This will allow the flavors to meld together even more.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the yogurt sauce or use a hotter variety of hot sauce.
