Recipe View
Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or cook on High for 6 hours. (Cook time: 6-10 hours)
For a richer flavor, consider using bone broth instead of regular beef broth.
If you don't have Creole seasoning, you can substitute with a mixture of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
To thicken the sauce after cooking, remove the beef and vegetables from the slow cooker. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water. Stir the cornstarch slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker. Cook on high for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency. Return the beef and vegetables to the slow cooker and serve.
