Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine the Make Ahead Cookie Mix, brown sugar, granulated sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, egg, and chopped walnuts (if using). Mix until well combined. The dough should be slightly firm. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop. Place the dough balls onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving about 1 inch between each cookie. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Bake for 11-16 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the centers are set. (11-16 minutes)

05

Step

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. (10 minutes)

06

Step

Once cooled, gently roll each cookie in confectioners' sugar to coat. (5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use browned butter instead of softened butter.
To toast walnuts, spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant.
Store the baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
The Make Ahead Cookie Mix can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks. Ensure it is brought to room temperature before using.
