Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 10x14-inch baking pan or large casserole dish with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a hot skillet until beef is browned and crumbly, 7 to 10 minutes.

03

Step

Pour cream of chicken soup into the skillet. Fill the empty can with chicken broth and pour into the skillet. Add celery, water, rice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and salt. Mix well. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking pan. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and rice is cooked through, about 1 hour.

For a richer flavor, brown the ground beef with a tablespoon of butter or olive oil.
To make it a complete meal, consider adding a can of drained and rinsed mixed vegetables to the casserole.
This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. Add 15-20 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
For a dairy-free option, use a dairy-free cream of mushroom soup and ensure the chicken broth is also dairy-free.
