Follow The Directions

01

Step

Zest two limes, finely grating the outer peel into a small bowl. Halve the zested limes and extract their juice, aiming for 1/2 cup. Combine the lime zest, fresh lime juice, sugar, and water in a jar or container. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the sugar to fully dissolve. (24 hours)

02

Step

Just before serving, stir in the premium tequila and the orange liqueur into the chilled lime mixture. Prepare your glasses by moistening the rims with a slice of lime, then gently pressing them into a plate of coarse salt to create a beautiful, even coating. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime slice for an elegant touch. (5 minutes)

For an extra burst of flavor, consider using Meyer limes for a sweeter, more floral profile.
Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding a touch more sugar or agave nectar, if desired.
Chilling your glasses beforehand will help keep your margaritas refreshingly cold.
Use high-quality tequila and orange liqueur, as they make a noticeable difference in the final taste.
If you don't have 24 hours to infuse the lime mixture, you can warm the lime juice, zest, sugar and water on low heat until the sugar dissolves, then chill for at least 2 hours.
