Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low heat for 8 to 12 hours, or on High heat for 4 to 6 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and deepen. (8-12 hours on Low, or 4-6 hours on High)

For an even richer flavor, consider browning the ground moose with a tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
If you prefer a thicker chili, you can mash some of the beans before adding them to the slow cooker.
