Add the fire-roasted diced tomatoes, beer, chili powder, ground cumin, fire-roasted diced green chile peppers, corn meal, dried ancho chile pepper, tequila, chopped jalapeño pepper, cocoa powder, and salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook until the tomatoes have broken down and the flavors have melded together. (Approx. 1-2 hours)

Stir in the rinsed and drained black beans and frozen fire-roasted corn. Continue cooking until everything is heated through. (Approx. 10-15 minutes). Serve hot and enjoy!

For a richer flavor, consider using a dark beer like a stout or porter.
Adjust the amount of chili powder and jalapeños to suit your preferred level of spiciness.
The chili tastes even better the next day, as the flavors have more time to meld. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
