For a richer flavor, use salted butter in the butterscotch sauce. If you don't have pecans, walnuts or almonds make a great substitute. Ensure the rolls are thawed enough to absorb the butterscotch sauce, but not so much that they become soggy. For a more intense butterscotch flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of butterscotch extract to the sauce.
