Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Prepare the Grill: Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat (about 350-400°F or 175-200°C) and lightly oil the grill grate. (5 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, carefully cut down the center of the top shell of each lobster tail, from the base to the tail fan. This helps prevent curling during grilling and allows for even cooking. (5 minutes)

03

Step
2 mins

Make the Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, seafood seasoning, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper until well combined. (2 minutes)

04

Step
5 mins

Grill the Lobster Tails: Place the lobster tails shell-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for 5 minutes. (5 minutes)

05

Step
7 mins

Baste and Finish Grilling: Turn the lobster tails over, so the meat side is down. Generously brush the exposed lobster meat with the butter mixture. Continue to grill until the shells are bright red and the meat is opaque and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes more, basting occasionally with the remaining butter mixture. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the tail should register 135-140°F (57-60°C). (7 minutes)

06

Step

Serve: Remove the lobster tails from the grill and serve immediately. Garnish with lemon wedges, if desired.

For best results, use fresh, high-quality lobster tails.
Do not overcook the lobster, or it will become tough and rubbery. Lobster is cooked when the meat is opaque and firm.
Feel free to adjust the amount of seafood seasoning and garlic to your liking.
Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter sauce for a touch of heat.
If you don't have a grill, you can broil the lobster tails in the oven. Place the tails on a baking sheet and broil for about 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
