For enhanced flavor, toast the sunflower seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until golden brown and fragrant. Be careful not to burn them. If you want to make it ahead of time, you can chop the cabbage, crush the noodles and measure the sunflower seeds in advance and place them in a container, then place the dressing in a different container. Mix them right before eating to avoid a soggy salad.
