For a richer flavor, toast the rice lightly in a dry pan before soaking. Adjust the amount of rum to your liking. A spiced rum would also be a delicious variation. If you don't have a food processor, a high-powered blender will also work. For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and condensed milk alternatives.
