For a deeper smoky flavor, consider using smoked paprika in addition to the chipotle chilies.
Adjust the amount of chipotle chile to your preferred spice level. Remember that a little goes a long way!
To thicken the chili, mash some of the beans against the side of the pot.
Serve with your favorite toppings, such as vegan sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced avocado, or a sprinkle of vegan cheese.
