For best results, use fresh popcorn kernels. Older kernels may not pop as well. Adjust the amount of salt to your preference. Start with a little and add more as needed. To prevent burning, keep the heat at medium and shake the pot consistently. Store leftover kettle corn in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
