For an extra touch of flavor, add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the strawberry mixture while it's simmering. To prevent the crust from becoming soggy, brush the inside of the baked pie crust with a thin layer of melted white chocolate before adding the strawberries. If fresh strawberries are not available, you can use frozen strawberries, but be sure to thaw them completely and drain off any excess liquid before using. Adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of your strawberries.
