For the best flavor, use sun-dried tomatoes that are not overly sweet. Mediterranean sun-dried tomatoes are ideal. While chilling the tapenade is highly recommended, it can be served immediately if desired. Serve with an assortment of your favorite crackers, toasted baguette slices, or crudités.
