Heat filtered water in a kettle until it reaches a near-boil (approximately 200°F or 93°C). Avoid a rolling boil to preserve the delicate flavors of the tea. (2 minutes)

Place the lemon slices, jasmine green tea leaves, and honey into a heat-resistant mug.

Gently pour the heated water over the ingredients in the mug.

Steep the tea for 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the beneficial properties to infuse the water. Taste periodically to achieve your desired strength.

For an extra boost, add a small piece of fresh ginger to the mug during steeping.
Adjust the amount of honey to your liking. Maple syrup or agave nectar can be used as alternatives.
If using a tea bag, steep for the recommended time on the packaging.
