Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). (2 minutes)

02

Step

Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Alternatively, use an air fryer-safe parchment liner. (1 minute)

03

Step

Arrange the bratwursts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking. (1 minute)

04

Step

Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping the brats halfway through, until they are beautifully browned and cooked through. Use an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a brat to ensure it reaches at least 160°F (70°C). (15 minutes)

05

Step

Carefully remove the brats from the air fryer. Serve immediately on toasted buns with German mustard and sauerkraut, if desired. (2 minutes)

For extra flavor, consider scoring the brats lightly before air frying.
Experiment with different bratwurst varieties, such as beer brats or cheddar brats.
If you don't have sauerkraut on hand, try serving with caramelized onions or your favorite relish.
