Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large bowl, gently combine the flaked salmon, panko bread crumbs, diced onion, mayonnaise, beaten egg, lemon juice, dill weed, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix. Shape the mixture into 6 equally sized croquettes. (Approximately 15 minutes)

02

Step
10 mins

Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking, and lightly spray the parchment with avocado oil. (Approximately 5 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Working in batches to avoid overcrowding, carefully place the salmon croquettes into the prepared air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops of the croquettes with avocado oil to encourage even browning. (Approximately 3 minutes per batch)

04

Step
2 mins

Air fry the croquettes for 8 to 10 minutes, until they turn a beautiful golden brown. Gently flip the croquettes over, spray again with avocado oil, and continue to cook for an additional 4 to 7 minutes, or until they are heated through and perfectly crisp. (Approximately 15 minutes)

For enhanced flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of Dijon mustard or a dash of hot sauce to the salmon mixture.
Ensure the salmon is well-drained to prevent soggy croquettes.
If you don't have parchment paper, you can spray the air fryer basket generously with avocado oil to prevent sticking. Make sure the air fryer basket is clean before starting.
Serve these delicious croquettes with a wedge of lemon and a side of tartar sauce or aioli for dipping.
