For a richer flavor, use brown butter instead of regular melted butter. A sprinkle of chopped walnuts or pecans adds a delightful crunch. Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness.
Elevate your brunch or impress your guests with these deceptively simple yet utterly delicious Apple Cinnamon Brie Quesadillas. The warm, melted brie, sweet apples, and hint of cinnamon create a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.
Melt 3/4 teaspoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Ensure the butter evenly coats the surface of the skillet.
Place one tortilla in the melted butter. (1 minute)
Layer the Brie cheese slices evenly over the tortilla, followed by the apple slices. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the apple and brie. (3 minutes)
Carefully place the remaining tortilla on top of the filling to create a sandwich. (1 minute)
Cook the quesadilla until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and crispy, approximately 3-5 minutes. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Spread the remaining 3/4 teaspoon of butter on the top tortilla. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a large spatula.
Continue cooking until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, the cheese is fully melted and gooey, and the apple is tender, approximately 3-5 minutes.
Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool slightly on a cutting board. (2 minutes)
Slice the quesadilla into quarters using a sharp knife and serve immediately.
For a richer flavor, use brown butter instead of regular melted butter. A sprinkle of chopped walnuts or pecans adds a delightful crunch. Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness.
