Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350-400°F or 175-200°C). Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking. (5 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

In a medium bowl, whisk together the Catalina salad dressing, melted butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and dill weed until well combined. (2 minutes)

03

Step
3 mins

Generously brush the salmon fillets with the prepared baste, ensuring each fillet is evenly coated. Reserve some baste for basting during grilling. (3 minutes)

04

Step
15 mins

Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets. Grill for approximately 6-8 minutes per side, basting regularly with the remaining sauce, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). (15 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh dill, if desired.

For best results, use high-quality salmon fillets. Fresh or frozen (thawed) salmon both work well.
Adjust the amount of brown sugar to your liking, depending on your preferred level of sweetness.
Feel free to experiment with other herbs and spices, such as smoked paprika or a pinch of red pepper flakes, for a unique flavor twist.
This baste also works beautifully with other types of fish, such as tuna or swordfish.
Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete and healthy meal.
