For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of dried oregano or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the marinade. If you're short on time, marinating for at least 30 minutes will still impart some flavor, but longer is always better. Be sure to discard the marinade after use and do not reuse it on cooked meat.
