Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

Place chicken breasts in a large pot and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer until cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Chicken is done when an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center registers 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove chicken from water, let cool slightly, and shred using two forks. (Cook time: 25 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the Monterey Jack cheese, Cheddar cheese, and softened cream cheese. Season generously with salt and pepper. Stir in the shredded chicken until well combined. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

04

Step

Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles and lay them flat on a clean work surface. Spread an even layer of the chicken-cheese mixture onto each triangle. Roll each triangle up, starting from the wide end, to form crescent roll shapes. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving. (Bake time: 25 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of garlic powder or onion powder to the chicken-cheese mixture.
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses! Pepper jack, Gruyere, or even a smoked Gouda would be delicious.
Serve these wraps with a side of marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.

Be careful not to overfill the crescent rolls, or they might burst open during baking.

These wraps are even better with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!

I used pepper jack cheese instead of Monterey Jack – so good!

Next time, I'm going to try adding some cooked bacon to the filling.

These wraps were a hit at my daughter's soccer party! So easy to make a big batch.

I found that the crescent rolls browned too quickly, so I tented them with foil halfway through baking.

  • Luna Durgan

My cream cheese wasn't soft enough, so the mixture was a bit lumpy. Make sure it's really softened!

  • Bernhard Klocko

I added some diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture for a little kick. Delicious!

Can you freeze these before baking? If so how long do I bake them for when they are frozen?
