Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a saucepan, combine chicken with garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary; add water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low, cover, and simmer until chicken is tender and no longer pink, about 15 minutes. Remove, cool, and cut into strips. (25 minutes)

03

Step

Meanwhile, place bread cubes on a baking sheet. Spray with butter spray; sprinkle with garlic salt and parsley. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Bake bread cubes for 5 minutes. Turn, spray again with butter spray and sprinkle with garlic salt and parsley. Bake another 5-10 minutes until golden brown and crunchy. Remove and let cool. (15 minutes)

05

Step

Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned and crispy. Remove, drain on paper towels, and crumble. (10 minutes)

06

Step

In a large bowl, combine chicken, bacon, lettuce, and croutons. Toss with Caesar salad dressing and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper and toss again. Spoon salad mixture into pita bread halves. (5 minutes)

For a vegetarian option, skip the chicken and bacon and add grilled halloumi or chickpeas.
Make your own Caesar dressing for an even fresher taste. A simple blend of mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Parmesan cheese works wonders.
Toast pita bread halves for a minute or two before filling for added warmth and texture.
