Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium saucepan, melt 2 cups of the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour, mixing until well combined. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the base layer is set. Remove from oven and let it cool completely. (15 minutes)

04

Step

In a medium saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium-high heat. Stir in the granulated sugar and 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow cream, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, and chopped peanuts. Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled baked layer. (15 minutes)

05

Step

In a small saucepan, combine the unwrapped caramels and the remaining 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the caramels are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Spread the caramel evenly over the marshmallow layer. Let cool until set. (10 minutes)

06

Step

In another small saucepan, combine the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and 3/4 cup of peanut butter. Cook and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the caramel layer. (8 minutes)

07

Step

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until all layers are firm and set. Cut into bars and serve. (30 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
Toast the peanuts lightly before chopping to enhance their nutty flavor.
If you don't have butterscotch chips, you can substitute white chocolate chips or simply use more semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Ensure the base layer is completely cooled before adding the marshmallow layer to prevent it from melting.
For a cleaner cut, use a warm knife when cutting the chilled bars.

These bars are absolutely divine! They are a bit rich, so a small piece is enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

  • Keely Hauck

I found the marshmallow layer a bit too sweet, so I reduced the amount of marshmallow cream slightly, and it was perfect!

  • John Muellerwolff

The recipe was easy to follow, and the bars turned out perfectly. I added a sprinkle of sea salt on top for an extra touch.

  • Joshua Schmeler

I made these for a bake sale, and they were gone in minutes! Everyone loved the combination of chocolate, caramel, and peanut butter.
