For a more intense lime flavor, use freshly squeezed Key lime juice. Bottled lime juice can also be used, but the flavor will be slightly different. Be careful not to overbake the pie, as this can cause the filling to crack. The filling should be just set but still have a slight jiggle in the center. For a smoother filling, make sure the sweetened condensed milk is at room temperature before using. If you don't have a pre-made graham cracker crust, you can easily make your own by combining graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Feel free to experiment with different toppings, such as toasted coconut flakes or a sprinkle of sea salt.
