Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Place butter in an 8x12 inch baking dish. Place the dish in the preheating oven until the butter is completely melted. (5-7 minutes)

03

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit mix with 1/2 cup of the sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Stir in the soymilk until just combined. Do not overmix. (3 minutes)

04

Step

In the baking dish with the melted butter, arrange the sliced peaches. Pour the corn syrup over the peaches, then sprinkle with the remaining 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Gently toss to ensure the peaches are evenly coated. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the peaches, spreading gently with the back of a spoon to create an even layer covering the fruit. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the crust has risen and is a rich, golden brown. The peach filling should be bubbly and heated through. (30 minutes)

07

Step

Let cool slightly before serving. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a splash of almond extract to the peach mixture.
If you don't have fresh peaches, canned or frozen peaches (thawed) can be substituted. Be sure to drain canned peaches well.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.

I used frozen peaches and it worked out perfectly. A great way to use what I had on hand.
