For best results, use fresh lime juice and high-quality tequila. Do not over-marinate the shrimp, as the acid in the lime juice can cause them to become mushy. To prevent sticking, make sure the grill grate is clean and well-oiled before placing the shrimp skewers on it. Serve these grilled tequila-lime shrimp as an appetizer, or as a main course with a side of rice and grilled vegetables. If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the shrimp in a skillet over medium-high heat.
