Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce until the sugar is dissolved. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Pour the marinade into a 1-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken tenders, ensuring they are fully coated. Squeeze out any excess air and seal the bag. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably up to 4 hours, for maximum flavor penetration. (1-4 hours)

04

Step

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat (about 350-400°F or 175-200°C) and lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and gently shake off any excess liquid. Discard the remaining marinade. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Place the chicken tenders on the preheated grill. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until they are no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. (6-8 minutes)

07

Step

Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

For a richer flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of sesame oil to the marinade.
If you don't have rice wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar can be used as a substitute.
To prevent the chicken from drying out, avoid overcooking. The internal temperature is key!
Serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped green onions for an elegant touch.
