For a smoother slush, you can partially thaw the mixture for about 30 minutes before scooping. Adjust the amount of vodka to your preference. For a less potent slush, reduce the vodka by 1/4 cup. Experiment with different flavors of carbonated beverage! Try ginger ale or club soda for a different twist. This slush can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for several weeks. If the slush becomes too hard to scoop, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften.

Jul 10, 2024Warning: this is definitely strong! I followed the recipe exactly and it was a bit too potent for some of my guests. I recommend starting with less vodka and adding more to taste.

Mar 27, 2024I was a bit skeptical about the cream of coconut, but it adds such a delicious creaminess to the slush. I'll definitely be making this again!

Dec 11, 2023I tried it with ginger ale instead of lemon-lime soda and it was fantastic! It gave it a nice spicy kick.
