Follow The Directions

01

Step

Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil; add potatoes and cook until just fork-tender, approximately 7-10 minutes. Drain thoroughly and set aside.

02

Step

In a large, heavy-bottomed nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook sausage links until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Add bacon to the same skillet and cook until nearly crisp. During the last 5-8 minutes of cooking, add cubed ham to the skillet to crisp and heat through. Remove bacon and ham with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels, reserving the rendered bacon fat in the skillet.

03

Step

Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet with the reserved bacon fat. Heat over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper; season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

04

Step

Return the drained potatoes to the skillet with the bacon fat over medium heat. Brown the potatoes on all sides, turning gently as needed to achieve even color. Season the potatoes with seasoned salt and pepper, to taste.

05

Step

While the potatoes are browning, melt butter in a separate skillet over medium heat. Fry eggs to your desired doneness – whether you prefer a runny yolk or a firm one.

06

Step

Divide the browned potatoes among 4 serving plates. Top with the bell pepper-onion mixture, followed by the sausage, bacon, and ham. Sprinkle generously with shredded Cheddar cheese and crown each serving with a perfectly fried egg. Serve immediately and savor the symphony of flavors.

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of smoked paprika to the potatoes while browning.
If you don't have seasoned salt, a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder works well as a substitute.
Feel free to customize the vegetables – mushrooms, zucchini, or spinach would all be delicious additions.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the bell pepper and onion mixture.
